Welcome to my auctions, and please remember to check out my ebay store / shop.

This auction is for an original, c. 1890 Japanese brass slim line vesta matchsafe with embossed butterflies and flowers, the same design to both sides.
Measures approx. 6.5 cms x 3 cms with rounded corners, and there is a fancy design around the four edges as you can see from the picture above (even the striker is shaped).
Th...e striker is on the bottom, and the vesta case opens and closes well with a good snap shut, and is in good 'antique' condition, please see all pictures above.
An extremely collectable vesta matchsafe that would certainly display well and compliment any collection, especially with other Japanese examples.   Tactile to the hand, please look at my other Japanese vesta cases I am listing in the shop.
Please note the match in the picture above is just for display only, you will receive the vesta / matchsafe only.

If you buy more than one auction and would like a combined invoice, please request this before paying and I will invoice you for a combined invoice lot which will always save you money. UK postage is £7.50, special next day delivery. Packed very well to ensure safe delivery.
There is possibly cheaper post on ebay, but not next day signed for, and unfortunately items can go missing if there is not a signature required, thank you for your understanding.  
For overseas transactions ‘International Track & Signed For’ or 'International Tracked' delivery will be used, depending on the destination country.
