This is a very unusual antique mirror that measures 12" tall and has an easel back. This entire mirror besides the easel is carved from one piece of wood. Whoever carved it was an expert carver. It has a floral design that goes around the entire mirror. Overall condition is pretty nice with only a few spots that I can see that have missing pieces. There are only a few tips of the delicate floral design that are missing. It has more of a artist's palette-shaped mirror that is beveled.&n...bsp;
I'm not sure where this was made. From the type of wood, it reminds me of some of the Asian made carved folk art pieces. When you look from the back, you can see one piece that came off at one time and then has been re-glued but it's not noticeable from the front. This is quite old and you can see some spots on the mirror silvering. There are no chips or cracks in the mirror. Came out Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
