Vintage Savinelli Punto Oro Pipe. Condition is Used. I purchased this pipe in the early 1970's at Iwan Ries in Chicago. Although used, I quit smoking about 40 years ago. The pipe had been gently smoked for about one year. The pipe bowl has been polished and reamed, and theshank has been cleaned and sanitized with 91% alcohol. The Vulcanite stemhas been sanitized with alcohol and polished.
There are barely visible tooth marks on the stem which could be buffed ...out easily. The shank is stamped with "Iwan Ries Special Walnut" and "904KS" (which I believe to be the shape), "Italy" and "Savinelli Punto Oro".
