Here is a nice Patent D Coca-Cola bottle from Shelbyville Indiana. In Bill Porter's 4th Edition Coke Bottle Checklist it is rated "S" for Scarce. As you could tell from the pictures there is some wear on this bottle, especially on the lettering "Trade Mark Registered" on the middle of the bottle. There is moderate wear around the base of the bottle. It has the Owen's glass mark on the skirt of the bottle and has a 44 to the right of mark, so I believe this bottle was made in 1944.
