The very rare mono promo version of the debut Ultimate Spinach album, recorded 1967 / released 1968 on M.G.M. records, catalog number E4518. This original, all-analog, dedicated mono mix is completely unavailable on CD and sounds much better than the Sundazed reissue ... If you're a major psych head you NEED this one on your shelf! Only selling it because I finally got an upgrade, and even now I'm still tempted to keep it... The mono version was basically promo-only and never mass-prod...uced for the American public, so you have to find this rare promo variant to hear this album correctly. This is the EAST COAST mono pressing on yellow labels, probably true best of all given the band was from Boston...All mono covers were just a stereo cover with a mono sticker (or stickers) affixed to the front. This one has some light tears and a seam split, about Very Good (VG) condition. The disc has several light marks on both sides, also consistent with about VG condition.
