Up for bid is a very rare color change garnet from Bekily, Madagascar. Bekily color change garnets are the finest in the world, with dramatic color changes that rival the finest Russian Alexandrite!! These amazing color change garnets are a hybrid between pyrope and spessartite. Demand is always high for Bekily color change garnets and supply is always low, equating to high prices for these wonderful and beautiful stones! This is a wonderful antique cushion cut gem me...asuring 4.8mm X 4.5mm and weighing 0.60cts!! It has a full color change from Blue under Fluorescent and Natural light to a Purple under incandescent and candle light. A DRAMATIC COLOR CHANGE!! ALL NATURAL AND UNTREATED! THESE ARE VERY RARE GARNETS. A great addition to a rare gem collection or to be used in custom jewelry. RARE IN THIS SIZE!!!
