MATCHBOOK from the legendary home of jazz - Art D'Lugoff's VILLAGE GATE and TOP of the GATE in NYC's Greenwich Village. A 2-in-1 from this amazing venue. Aretha made her debut here! And that's just one of the legends this place was associated with. It's now Le Poisson Rouge. In outstanding condition - a couple tiny edge/corner nicks and a tiny bit of color fadingI have plenty of other NYC, NJ and other restaurant and bar matchbooks - check 'em out!PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING RE...GARDING SHIPPING:If you want the MATCHBOOK COVER(s) ONLY, choose the lower rate on shipping. This means I will be removing the matches before shipping them to you, and no returns on these. If you want the entire matchbook(s) intact, it's $3.50 shipping. However, I will combine shipping & will ship up to 10 more matchbooks at no additional cost. The same goes for international shipping - lower rate is matchbook cover only, higher rate is for entire matchbook intact.The post office raised their shipping rates recently, and is also being very tough on what qualifies as a letter vs. a package, forcing you to pay the new, higher package rate for anything over 1/4-inch thick. An average matchbook is just over 1/4-inch thick, and any packaging at all makes it well over that. I don't like it, so I've decided to offer the cheaper shipping option if you are not actually interested in the matches, just the cover. Check out my other items!
