I have collected records since I was very young, however Iincreasingly I have realised that I have far too many, and soI have been slowly trying to rationalise my extensive collection over the years, I have sold many major rarities over the years, from major BEATLES and 60s rarities, through PUNK and PROG ROCK, CLASSICAL and BLUES. Basically I've had alot of very rare records and in dribs and drabs have sold them off. Here we have a real rarity! An original BEATLES FOR SALE EP GEP 8931 with Sold In UK text, central KT tax code, and incredibly... a SOLID CENTRE! More information will follow below on this one, I just realised I'd missed it in the photos and writing-up!
As with any solid centre Beatles EP, this is very highly sought after! Released in 1964, this has the "Sold in U.K." text, and the centrally embossed KT tax code on side 2, if you're reading this, you're probably familiar with the rarity of certain solid centred titles by the Beatles, and if that does tickle your collector's fancy, please check out my other currently listed items, as I have some rather rare ones!CONDITION:RECORD: VG+ Both sides are very nice, and , s when angled into strong direct light, show only very light hairlines/surface marks, absolutely nothing to interfere with the lovely strong tracks on this EP. The audio is great.LABELS: EX lovely crisp all important solid centre labels, completely free from graffiti/stains/ earss/abrasions, A couple of very light spindle trails near the central spindle holes, when angled into direct light, but very crisp and clean indeed! Lovely!SLEEVE: VG+ A very respectable original front laminated, flipback sleeve, a little age related mottling, and light handling, but in very decent condition, with no graffiti and all edges quite crisp, with absolutely no wear-throughs present. Nice!
