Up for sale is this 1979 Star Trek: The Motion Picture 3.75" MEGO action figure of the Megarite. This figure is in NEAR MINT condition after 40 years, and very RARE. The Mego line for the first Star Trek movie released a wave of aliens, but only in Italy and Canada. These were all, except the Klingon, present in the scene where the Enterprise crew was being briefed on their mission. Though the US card backs showed photos of the alien characters, they were not so...ld in America. Prior to the internet, many people were unaware these were ever even produced. These figures are among the most rare action figures for any franchise, anywhere. Owned by a Star Trek Mego collector, in a smoke free home, condition of the paint is near perfect, and the joints are super tight.. Basically never played with in 40 years.
