Precious specimen of this enormous species of spiny triolobite. This trilobite has been prepared carefully, during many hours of work. It has several restored fractures. The eyes facets are quite well preserved. Most of the spines have been restored.
Drotops is a genus of trilobites from the order Phacopida, family Phacopidae that lived during the Eifelian of the Middle Devonian. It was described by Struve in 1990 under type species Drotops megalomanicus. Their fossils are found in present day Morocco, specifically the Maïder Region located South West of Erfoud.

Notwithstanding, if the shipping quote you paid turns to be not enough to cover the shipping once all your items have been packaged and weighted (we have to package them very carefully due to the characteristics of the fossils), we will contact you to adjust the order. In this case we cannot refund you, because the product was bought already knowing that it had that weakness.
