Grebe RORD Detector & AF Amplifier Exceptionally Clean, Early 1920sS/N 238The Grebe RORD detector & amp (no tuner in this model) is in exceptionally fine original shape. Cabinet is clean with no damage. Face panel perfect. Nickel plating on the front jacks has no corrosion from damp storage. The Cabinet including the top is quarter sawed oak to minimize warp. RORD is all original circuit with good transformers and working rheostats.
This is the 2nd version of t...he RORD with thumb wheel rheostats. Richmond Hill NY production. The RORD was typically paired with such tuners/receivers as the Grebe CR-2 or CR-3.
This RORD comes complete with three working brass base wicked top UV 201 A tubes. The Grebe factory milled three reliefs on the underside of the lid to accommodate early wicked top tubes.IMPORTANT - Be sure to read the Terms and Conditions of SaleHardware Packing - Domestic and Outside US: Item will be wrapped with bubble wrap in two directions and double boxed.
