High Fashion Vintage MILCH Black Leather Frame Handbag - Mad Men - Met Museum

Stylish Black leather with Egyptian influenced gold metal trim. This bag had two large pockets one on each side with two inner pockets in each side pocket. Comes with a small leather coin purse, possibly original.
This is a high end handbag with very fine construction from the 50 or 60's and is in excellent vintage condition, with no visible wear on the leather, some wear on the inside snap closures from normal use.

Frank (aka Francis?) Milc...h was the owner and/or designer of Milch handbags of New York. 1950's, 60's and 70's. His bags are part of the collection of the Metropolitan Museum.
