tough one to part with here
huge Clash fan, in fact, I think they might be my most favorite/important band
this was the group that Mick Jones started when he was summarily fired from the Clash and they continued through 84 and part of 85 without him
it took his love of beats, beatboxing, hip hop and funk and made something, if not entirely new, then something that some of the more experimental tracks on Sandinista might have hinted at....
I saw them a handful of times and w...as pretty happy, esp in the 80s when they did a Prince song as the encore
a lot of punks were somewhat surprised, at least in the US audiences. keep in mind that music was so much more segregated then...be it the underground or the pop that was on MTV
ok, grandpa will stop rambling now. this shirt was printed by and at Winterland in San Francisco
never worn or washed and stored in a smoke free enviroment
rare one here esp in this condition...
