You are bidding on a vintage iron called “THE ECONOMY”, No. 6natural gas sad iron, circa 1910 made by The Hyatt – Wise Mfg. CO., Columbus, Ohio. This iron has a gas pipe which allows the combustion to heat theiron from the inside. The handle is fixed with two screws and has a woodenpart. There are gas evacuations on both sides of the iron.
