TENYO MYSTERY CHINA BOX T-201..re-decorated, incomplete..scarce and rare. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class Mail. This authentic TENYO piece is not for the Tenyo collector but for the working performer that likes the clever and ingenious thinking that goes into creating these minor miracles. This piece is precision engineered and crafted, you will amaze yourself let alone those who watch you perform. This is the kind of piece you will "play" with just to wa...tch and appreciate the precision mechanics that make this trick work. The previous owner always re-decorated his props to suit his style and everything he used had a "look" to it. He was a performing magician and not a collector, so by re-decorating this, he had a one of a kind prop that he enjoyed performing. The piece is in terrific condition and looks new. The original instructions and packaging are missing as well as some of the balls. Any little balls or beads will work as they are not gimmicked in anyway. Originally this came with two sets of three balls 2 red, yellow, and 2 green. Only three were used the others were just spares. This only has a yellow and a green ball, but a trip to Hobby Lobby and voila, you will be back in business. I will write up a brief instruction sheet telling how the effect works. The beauty of this prop is that it is so well made and engineered you can pass everything out before and after the effect and the audience will never figure it out! No strings, magnets, or tricky moves...nothing is added or taken away, it is amazing.The effect: Two clear tubes are displayed inside a box. After placing three different colored balls into the tall tube you explain that you can make anyone of the balls jump instantaneously into the short tube. The effect becomes more baffling since the proper ball jumps no matter which color is chosen, and in whatever order the balls are inserted into the tube. There are a number of You Tube videos of people performing this effect with different routines.
Recently one of these sold at auction for over $200.00 but it was for a collector as it was in original packaging, yada, yada. If you like to perform TENYO like magic but don't like the plastic "toy" look, this might be just what you are looking for.
