Description/Interesting Notes: A unique, old time example of meionite var. algerite from "Mine Hill" in Franklin!!! This specimen hosts an elongated crystal of meionite var. algerite in a calcite matrix!!! The crystal is sharply defined and exhibits an opaque, orangey-tan color!!! T...he crystal exhibits, complex, somewhat amorphous or etched terminations and is in terrific condition!!! This specimen retains an old, unattributed label and corresponding affixed label as well!!!
