1.31 TROY OUNCE &n...bsp; GOLD NUGGET BUY IT NOW!! OR NO RESERVE AUCTION This is a NATURAL GOLD NUGGET 40.8 gms 1.31 Troy OZ JACKSONVILLE OREGON RICH % of DEEP YELLOW GOLD from ESTATE EXACT ONE. (see Pictures: Some pictures are scans, and subject to scanner lights, glare, shadow, dust on screen, not flat on screen, other. The others are pictures from camera but have flash and focus/depth of field issues). VERY RARE NATURAL GOLD NUGGET FROM JACKSONVILLE AREA in SOUTHERN OREGON, SAID TO BE 140-175 YEARS OLD. Gold was discovered in this area in 1850's and was a boom area for a number of years. Estate folks said it had been in the family for over 100 years when I purchased it, and it's been in this sellers collection for nearly 40 years since. Story told of it being stolen, and later recovered, was said to be used as part of a belt buckle at sometime, for a little while way back when (supposedly just glued on, but there are a few tiny scratches on what would be the "back" side, unknown if from this use or from what, and could easily be removed) Would make a really great pendant necklace. Very high grade, VERY BRIGHT YELLOW, has a little quartz at one end, just enough to make great specimen of it, also a bit of crystalline gold. Measurements vary but about 1 1/4 inches long, 1 inch wide, and 3/8 inch thick. This would be a great item to add to your collection. NO RESERVE!!!!
