Here is an old Instruction Book and Parts List for Wisconsin Air Cooled Heavy Duty Engines, Models ABN & AKN Single Stroke Engines. This is issue MM-253. Model ABN has a 2 1/2" Bore, 2 3/4" Stroke 13.5 cu. in. Displacement and Model AKN has a 2 7/8" Bore, 2 3/4" Stroke 17.8 cu. in. Displacement. The book covers things like: General Information & Design; Starting & Operating; Parts List; Air Cleaner; Crankshaft, Assembling; Lubrication; Knocks; Ignition Swi...tch; Spark Plug; Stop Engine; Surging or Galloping; Valves and more, along with plenty of illustrations. The last several pages has instructions for No. 2864 B Fairbanks - Morse Types FM-J1A7 & FM-J1B7 Magnetos. There is also 2 pages on the WICO Model XH-1 Magnetos. The book is a softcover book. The book was used and stored in an old garage, it is soiled, has bent corners, rough edges and some writing on the cover. Still very usable. Great for the mechanic who fixes most anything.
