Selling is a Vintage Original 7 1/4" X 9 1/4" Black & White glossy photo with a black bottom border only of GINGER ROGERS & FRED ASTAIRE from the 1938 film, "CAREFREE". This photo is possibly a Proof photo due to the bottom black border. The still number of this photo is "CF140". It is getting much more difficult to find vintage original good dancing photos like this one of the two stars.This is the shortest of the ...Rogers-Astaire films, it only has 4 musical numbers. Rogers-Astaire do share their longest kiss when they finish the "I used to be Color Blind" number. Their kisses are usually only a quick peck, or are only implied. This was the second to last film they made together for RKO. The last film was "The Story of Vernon & Irene Castle" in 1939. There is nothing on the back of the photo, there once was a typed snipe attached to the back, but it has fallen off long ago.Photo is in VERY GOOD Condition with very minimal handling wear.
