- Complete revision in a master watchmaker
The watch is a very special Heuer Autavia 2446C from the late 60s. It has the Tachymeter bezel - making it a true automotive instrument for timing average mph/kph in drag racing. First execution version (?) with compression case (snap caseback), sold only for two years - 1968-69. The movement is the almighty Valjoux 72 - professionally serviced in 09.2020 by a certified watchmaker. The case is lightly polished such as the original steel bracelet. The caseback has the typical wear for those Autavias. Comes on an original and very rare stainless steel (Gay Frères) bracelet. This Heuer Autavia is a highly collectable model. Very rare and a very cool watch.
