Gorgeous and unusual French basket style chandelier by A Schonbek & Co. circa 1970. It has a striking fountain waterfall top with large spear drop prisms. This beauty has a lot of flash and spectral colors, and an array of crystal parts and chains which create a sweet and sparkling jewel for your ceiling. The body of the fixture measures about 17” wide and 16” with another 3” additional inches with a couple links of chain and ceiling canopy. Frame is mostly gold or brass tone... with a reflective chrome backdrop behind the five candelabra bulbs - lots of light. Also has lucite components for the bottom center which also keeps it bright and airy. See pics for further detail. This chandelier is complete with all parts, though I do see one crystal on the outer rim ( with the teardrops and chains of octagons) which is slightly different (see photo #11). Not a problem, but I mention to be thorough. Everything looks good with no major issues, just minor wear and patina. I think the very center bottom accent prism is an addendum, but it looks great.
