What a gorgeous French BEBE! She is the quintessential French child of the Victorian Era and the dream of every little girl she might find underneath the Christmas Tree. She is an early bisque socket head made by Jumeau/SFBJ. She stands 19.5" on her jointed composition body with original finish that is in perfect condition without cracks or repairs and a beautiful presentation. Her bisque is excellent without hairlines, cracks or repairs. She has beautif...ul blue hand blown glass eyes, hand painted upper and lower lashes and feathered brown brows. Her pierced ears are adorned with coral earrings and her lips are outlined with a darker shade of red featuring four tiny square teeth. She has a dark brown human hair wig and stands on her jointed composition body with the original finish. Head is marked FRANCE SFBJ PARIS 8. Costumed with hand printed cotton dress depicting children playing, a red velvet ribbon accents her waist, underneath she is wearing her original chemise and pantaloons, her socks and original leather shoes. She is typical French child of the early Victorian era. Condition: Her bisque is great, with high quality modeling and painting of features, without cracks, chips, or restoration.
