This regenerative receiver is battery operated and does pick up a few BC stations. I was also able to tune a few SW stations but could only pick them up at night using a 50+ foot antenna. I experience a certain amount of hand capacitance when tuning in stations. There are a few very small dents along the top edge of the front face plate but otherwise the radio is in very good cosmetic condition for it's age. Cabinet has the usual light scratches and scrapes from age but it's still very... shiny.
