This is a gorgeous antique Victorian Scottish Sterling bracelet. I can't see a mark on it, but it tests positive for Sterling Silver. It has a lovely design, with a beautifully engraved buckle clasp, that has 3 hinged sections, for doing up the bracelet. It has 4 linked sections, 2 are an orangey ginger banded shade, and have an open design. The other 2 are finely detailed, and are black banded, deep rusty red. They have pretty engraved Silver on the ends, and are joined with chai...n links. It is in very good condition. The piece of Silver that attaches one Agate section, has an early repair at the back, that looks fine, but could be better if it was redone (see last picture). It measures 8 and a 1/2 inches long, but would probably fit a 7 and a 1/2 inch wrist when the buckle is done up. It is 1 and a 1/4 inches across the buckle, and the bracelet is 7/8ths of an inch wide. Now a little information about postage.Most jewellery items come in new black cardboard or plastic jewellery boxes, with white wadding, and bubble wrap, for extra safety. These are then sent in jiffy bags, so all items should be very secure. The only exceptions to this are more delicate items, glass, china etc., that need added protection. These are sent in solid jewellery boxes, sometimes used, but always in very good condition. If you want an item for a present, and need a special box, do let me know, as I can normally find something appropriate to send it in. My standard UK postal charge of £2.20 covers the cost of postage, box, jiffy bag, bubble wrap etc. I am having to revise my postage rates for International Postage, as Royal Mail increased the rates from April 2014, but do remember, as always, I am happy to combine postage on any items that are paid for at the same time.
