Extremely rare and beautiful dendrite agate from Wyoming. I bought this lot years ago from a rock shop in Riverton Wyoming. Here’s enough stock for a jewelry run or stash it for years to come. It’s my understanding the area this came from is either closed or mined out. Pieces may have some minor pitting along with vugs.
Medicine Bow Dendritic Agate is a white agate with black manganese spots or dendrites. I...t is found in veins and bubbles in rock that has been permeated by volcanic gasses. Medicine Bow Agate comes from the west side of the Laramie Range in the Wyoming Medicine Bow Country.
