An oh-so-rare pair of Bernard Instone Arts and Crafts earrings c1930 in rare plum purple and lilac enamel, set in silver gilt. A beautiful find!The earrings are clip earrings and in super condition, with just some patina you could polish if you prefer. They use the typical Instone design of scrolls and leaves, which Instone used throughout his career on a variety of items. Sometimes these designs were in plain silver and other times, such as this, they were infilled with enamel.
Th...is colourway is definitely one of the very rarest...so delicate and feminine in the plum and lilac.Typically, they are signed SILVER on the side of the clip section. In super order, both the silver and the enamel-marks...just some patina which appears in places and which could easily be polished away. They are in lovely condition!They measure approx 2cm by approx 1.4cm and I am sure collectors will love the rarity of these earrings.The earrings will be sent Tracked and Signed, in a new gift box.
