RimRock: 2.90 Lbs Rare AUSTRALIAN FUCHSITE Rough DescriptionThis material came out of Australia several years ago. The miner that found it was looking for Emeralds. The pictures don't do it justice. It has a nice chatoyant sparkle and makes great cabs.
These 2 pieces each have 3 to 5 cut faces that help to show the flashy green patterns inside in varying shades. They look fracture free and are solid, except the small piece may have a couple of surface fractures, it's hard ...to say for sure.
They each measure, at their widest:
5" x 1-3/4" x 1-3/8"
3-1/8" x 3" x 2-3/8"
Total weight: 2 lbs, 14.4 oz
