Up for auction is Fine Black foot Indian circa 1880's Quilled and beaded on Brain Tan Leather with Long Quill Drops and Sinew sewn It is 11" long overall with drop by 2-1/4" wide. Several quilled drops that range from 5" to 7" long. Nice quilled and lazy bead work on this piece. This piece is out of the Lutheran Reverend Ernest Von Kronwitter that was from Germany but was doing Missionary work in the Dakotas and other Indian Reservations in the early 1900's He collected these ite...ms and took them back to Germany before World War 1 broke out.
