Presented for your consideration is this beautifully worn, triple signed 1957 Longines “Devil’s Calatrava” - so nicknamed due to the case’s 6666 designation. This timepiece measures in at a very modern 35mm diameter, sitting on an 18mm black leather band. Aesthetically, this watch sports a unique patina with shades of green, with a particular depth in the 1 to 4 o’clock area. So if you are looking for a mint dial, this probably isn’t going to scratch that itch.
However, ...everything else about this watch presents as original and is in excellent condition, including the signed crown, caseback, and movement. The 12.68z movement is in great shape for a 60-year-old watch, and is keeping time within 80 seconds a day as per the timegrapher and my personal observation. That said, I cannot vouch for the service history, and as with all vintage watches a prompt service is recommended.
