Hello, here is a HUGE and 100% natural Moroccan Trilobite Fossil plate with around TWENTY! or so Asaphellus sp. Trilobite specimens all in a VERY life like pose.. It is from Morocco. All in their Fezouata Formation matrix.... very nice.This "rock" was a living animal during the Lower Ordovician Era a Crazy! 488 to 472 million years ago.
The largest trilobite measures a CRAZY! 16.0cm or 6.25" and the overall ...piece or matrix is a huge 53.5cm or 21" at its biggest! BOTH SIDE of the MATRIX fit together Perfectly. Please note that this piece did come out of the Earth in around five pieces and it was repaired....it will have to be shipped in TWO separate boxes as it too heavy and most likely will break if shipped together.
