Fine pamphlet, , for the Hotel D'Angleterre, operated by Alexandre Goebel, No 29 Alter Weinmarkt in Strasbourg, France. Front page is illustrated with 5 vignettes showing the hotel from various angles as well as 2 showing local attractions - Bahnhof and Rhein-Brucke, all surrounded with variety of small decorative elements. When opened, the card has a map of Strasbourg that includes street names and labeled attractions. Handwritten note in the upper righ...t corner reads Mary Isabelle James then has an arrow pointing to a building on the map with 'academy - where Prof Sch lived'. Back page has a decorative border with two statues, one on either end like columns, and a larger block of text in the center. The text has a list of 15 things to see in Strasbourg written once in German then again right beside it in French. Illustration has the two statues - Gutenberg and Kleber - as well as an illustration looking out at Strasbourg in the distance that goes with the center text. Printed by Israel Wanfried.
