Antique Arcade Crystal No. 4 Cast Iron Coffee Mill Grinder Vintage Original 1900s Rare.

You are view...ing a Rare Antique Arcade Manufacturing Company, Wall-Mount Cast Iron Coffee Mill, circa late 1800s to early 1900s.
Front of the cast iron body is embossed ARCADE. Embossed on back of the iron body is ARCADE FREEPORT ILL. NO. 40. REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. MADE IN U.S.A.
The large glass canister is original to this mill and embossed in cursive script: Crystal No 4. What I love the most is the distinct bubbles to the left of the "C" & "r" in the word Crystal, indicative of hand blown glass. In turn, helps us to get a better gauge of its age. Absolutely amazing.
The Tin Screw-On Lid is marked Arcade also indicating it is original to this grinder.
The clamp arm(unattached)-shown in photos, is normally used to hold a small glass catch.
(an old jelly jar or a glass cup could be used).
This Coffee Mill is in great condition- lid unscrews easily from the glass canister, 4 screws are provided for assembly& mount, the crank arm with wooden handle turns to make that great cranking sound letting you know its time for coffee!!
