Foryour consideration is this 21-1/2" tall Russian Samovar. It issigned on the front, Ivan and Alexey Batashev's Factory in Tula. This examplehas either ten or twenty exhibition stamps; they are intertwined in the samespot on the samovar, so I'm not sure if it considered one or two - thecollectors will have to decide. One is dated 1839, 1899 and the rest (that havea date) are all early 20th century. Approximate Measurements: · &n...bsp;21-1/2”tall at the tallest point.· 12”wide with the handles folded as photographed.· Thebase: 6” x 6”.· Weightunpacked: 18 pounds, 3 ounces.Condition: Originally, I thought the handle or spigot that turns to release the hot water was missing, but found the piece in the trunk of the car. As you can see from the last picture in the gallery, the handle and spigot (or whatever it;s called) have a solder repair and will need to have one done again. There are some dents and dings on it, but several of the examples I looked at all have a few character marks likethis.
