UPDATED PHOTOS! VINTAGE KPM Berlin Neuzierat Cup and Saucer Meissen/Dresden Hand-Painted Floral and Raised Gold Design.

Markings on the underside show the royal scepter with the angled mark approximately 1/2 way down, and a th...ree pointed top. This royal scepter began to be used around 1870 through 1945. Underside also marked with the traditional KPM initials, along with a red orb, which signifies all floral painting, as well as figurative scenes and landscapes (from Wikipedia).
Cup and Saucer are GORGEOUS. Condition is Used, with some minor wear of the gold on the handle as shown in the photos. No cracks, chips, repairs, crazing, or other flaws noted.
The Neuzierat design was a favorite of Frederick the Great, and was designed for the New Palace in Potsdam. The decorations of KPM Berlin are typically hand-painted, and the porcelain painters are free to interpret the motifs within the design specifications. The painters then sign the pieces he decorated. Thus, each piece of porcelain is a unique work of art (from Wikipedia).
