CHARMING ANTIQUE FRENCH PORCELAIN RELIGIOUS BENITIER ICON c1850
From a recent attic clearance here in Normandie this is charming antique French benitier and Icon was black when it was found. I have given it a very quick clean but it will clean much better. The shells or leaves around the edges are hand painted and the inner figure is unglazed. Height 12.5cms Base diameter 6cms A genuine timeworn confection for any vieille maison coll...ection. All the items in my listings, unless described otherwise, are either vintage or antique. They have all had a 'past' life, a history to tell - and this inevitably affects their condition through use and handling. I do my best to make my descriptions as accurate as possible but please do not bid if you are looking for pristine items; you will not find them in my auctions! I aim to despatch your parcel within 5 days of receiving your payment. The French postal system can be a little slow at times but is usually reliable. However I cannot be held responsible once I have deposited your parcel at the post office for any subsequent delays which occur whilst the parcel is en route to you. I am happy to combine two or more items into one package for shipping.
