Up for sale is this vintage radio escutcheon from a 1938 Zenith Shutter Dial radio. It came off of a 12S245 chairside but will fit all the Walton radios like 9S232, 12S232, 7J232, 7S232, and the popular consoles like the 9S262, 12S265, 12S266, 12S267, 12S268, 15U271, and others.
This escutcheon has been heavily polished by a previous owner and then was probably not clear-coated, which means that corrosion is popping back up in various spots, the worst being some red corr...osion to the right of the top knob. It will have to be sanded and polished again, but hey - half of the work is already done for you because the previous owner has removed years of tarnish!
The escutcheon has various small scratches here and there but is very restorable.
This escutcheon is approx. 10" tall by 8 7/8" wide. The mounting holes are spaced vertically about 9 1/2" and the mounting holes on the bottom are approx. 7 3/4" apart.
I do not have any other parts for this radio.
