I tried a new 9 volt battery and the radio works perfectly! Unfortunately I am too cheap to include the new battery so the buyer will have to buy one. Sorry. The battery attachments are quite clean and not corroded. Anyways on to the condition: the brown leather is ok in most of the areas but around the snaps and some corners, it is brittle and cracking. Also the handle is probably not usable as the leather there is dry too. 1 of the snaps is fine, the other 2 would probably snap shut ...but I didn’t try them because os the dry leather around them. The station dial has cracks but is still functional. The volume dial is a little uneven when turned but again quite functional. Measurements of the rectangular case itself, not including the handle or dials: 6.5 inches x 5 inches x 2.5 inches.
