Used, sleek old-school AT&T touchtone desktop telephone with 16 front panel buttons (1-9, 0, *, #, MUTE, FLASH, REDIAL, HOLD), and several phone setting control switches underneath base (Pulse/Tone Mode, High/Low/Off—assuming ringer volume; and POS. On, Off). Comes with two clean, like-new matching black cords (for handset and wall jack). The model number is 2500-YMGL. CONDITION: This phone does not show signs of heavy use or damage. I see a number of very light surface scuffs/mi...nor scratches all around if I angle it so the light hits a certain way but no deep scrapes, cracks, or chips. There was some old Scotch tape affixed to the handset that I was able to carefully remove, but I can still faintly tell where it was. I have done my best to accurately depict some of these small flaws in different types of lighting—please see pictures. It is unclear to me whether the labels on the pushbuttons were originally white/lighter and yellowed with time, or if they were always a bit off--the coloring is uniform and identical on all of the button labels, and the phone was clean and wrapped, not heavily soiled when I unpacked from storage, so I am confident at least knowing the buttons aren’t stained from dirt. I have not attempted to experiment with OxyClean and see if it might brighten them, but I know that is a common solution to lightening yellowed vintage plastics, etc.; I actually prefer the colors as they are but will leave this decision to the buyer. I found this among several old touchtone phones stored in my family’s attic, and while I assume they all work (since my parents kept them wrapped up in a box), unfortunately I have no way of testing to confirm that it is in working order. I have cleaned it carefully. This phone would make an attractive decoration, or a prop for photo shoot or interior staging if you don't use a landline. Please be aware it is possible this older style of telephone may have compatibility issues with VoIP service as it was designed for traditional landline wall jacks—you may want to check with your phone service provider. Please examine pictures carefully and feel free to ask any questions. I do not accept returns unless there is an error in my listing; I have done my best to carefully and accurately describe this item. I want the buyer to be aware of exactly what you are getting and most importantly, happy! Thank you!
