Vintage Leather Studded Saddle Bags. Buco? Harley - Davidson? Indian? Fresh Out

Good morning!
Stopped to buy a Raleigh 3 speed rod brake bicycle and the fellow had these as well, covered in dust, but in excellent condition.
I do not see a maker's mark on them. Please feel free to advise. For the serious collectors out there, please share your knowledge. They seem very 1950s / 1960s to me, and are in that Buco style, but I made the deal because I liked them. A lot!
Yes, they are dusty, and I will gently brush them off today and... rephotograph them. I was going to leap in with a well wrung out damp rag and work the leather a bit. If that is a good thing, let me know. If that is blasphemy, let me know!

I ONLY USED THE VERY SOFT BRUSH TO SET THE DUST FREE. HAVE NOT USED ANY WATER OR OIL.
Saddle bags are SUPPLE. I removed the old balled up newspapers and crumpled up a few pages of fresh papers and balled up some clean, sturdy craft paper as well to bulk them out.
Again, despite searching pretty thoroughly, I haven't found a makers mark. Perhaps that is common. Dunno!
