EXTRA-LARGE ANTIQUE APOTHECARY BOTTLEA late 19th or early 20th century clear glass round apothecary/chemist/pharmacybottle, complete with its stopper. It stands approximately 24cmtall overall and 9.5cm in diameter, and has a white, lozenge-shaped label under glass with gilt edging, bearing the words "TROCH: POT: CHLOR:" The bottle is made from moulded glass and does not carry a maker's mark on the base.
Both bottle and stopper are in good condition, although they ...do show the normal signs of wear commensurate with age and use.Although this bottle has been rinsed out, it has not been sterilised; any residual material has no medicinal value, could be dangerous and should not be used.
