5.44” High Quality Megalodon Fossil Shark Tooth. No Restoration or Repair.This is a huge tooth that has a beautiful thick dark brown root, nice dark brown bourlette and great looking enamel. This shark tooth also has some nice visible sharp serrations along the blade. It is a massive upper shark tooth from a huge megalodon. This tooth is really nice in person and weighs just under 3/4 pound (10.7oz ). It was measured carefully with a set of digital calipers for accuracy.This is an in...teresting tooth as there is a portion of enamel that has been chipped off where the shark either bit into something very hard or bit down on his own teeth. You can see the bite marks on the non-display side of the tooth match up exactly where the enamel is chipped off. It gives you a look “under the hood”. Definitely a unique tooth.This shark tooth was found diving off the coast of North Carolina.
