Here is a beautiful specimen featuring fluorite crystals on quartz from the famous La Viesca mine, La Collada mining area, Asturias, Spain. The fluorite crystals are sharp with stepping on about half of the crystals. The three largest crystals have purple and blue zoning within them while the rest are mostly colorless and fairly gemmy. The quartz is lustrous and sparkles very nicely! This piece sits perfectly for display as shown in the first two pictures and has an aesthetic presentat...ion. There are a few crystals on the backside as well. The dimensions are 12.5 by 7.7 by 6.5 cm and it weighs exactly 1 lb.
