This is a lovely vintage pin cushion half doll which stands 4 3/4 inches high; measures 2 1/2 inches wide and it dates to around the 1920's. This half doll is in the form of a young woman with long blonde hair and she has her arms held against her body. She is wearing a pink dress, blue shawl and a large wide brimmed green hat with white ribbon and yellow and mauve feathers. There is no manufacturer's name or marks to be found but it was probably made in Germany... - there is the incised number 13214 to be found on the back. The condition is good with no splits, cracks, nicks, damage or restoration. For accuracy in my description I will point out a small missed spot of blue paint to the back shoulder of the half doll which has been here since it was painted but nothing too serious or detracts in any way. This lovely vintage large pin cushion half doll, in the form of a young woman wearing a wide brimmed hat with feathers, would make an ideal gift or a great addition to any collection.
