This is a wonderful piece of the worlds deep past from the Ordovician of New York State. This wonderfully inflated Isotelus gigas is from the infamous Walcott Rust is 63mm long and isnaturally situated on a 10cm free standing matrix. there is about 5-7% shell restoration to replace shell lost during the initial collection. These bugs are found by breaking the hard limestone down into incrementally smaller pieces and looking for the outlinr of the trilobites in cross section....*All fossils we sell are in most cases found and prepared by us.
