RimRock: Three Rare COW VALLEY AGATIZED PETRIFIED WOOD Rough Plank Slabs DescriptionThis material came from an old collection and came from SE Oregon near Brogan.
These 3 pieces have a typical rough polish from the old days on one side, one piece on both sides, which could be improved on. They have been cut with the grain into what they call planks and are showing different wood patterns with areas of translucency and cut thin. I see a couple of hairline fractures in each ...piece, but they're otherwise solid.
They each measure, at their widest:
7-1/4" x 6-1/2" x 1/8"
6-3/8" x 5-5/8" x 1/8+"
8-3/16" x 5" x 1/8" to 5/16"
Total weight: 1 lb, 12.8 oz
