We’re not a storefront, so we will have to end the listing until we return.====Antique 1927 Tootsie Toy No. 12 Dollhouse with 6 rooms of Tootsie Toy furniture, made in the U.S.A. This complete dollhouse has 2 chimneys and a dormer on the roof, it opens from the front, includes the original brass paper fasteners (24 each: 2 large ones are for the front door.) The house fits together with a tab and slot system using t...he brass fasteners to hold the walls together. Both the front and back open up and the roof comes off for easier access to the second floor. Included is original Tootsie Toy furniture as shown in our photos. Each room in the doll house has a complete set of furniture There are 2 additional small lamps that appear to be extra, according to the Sears, Roebuck and Co. clipping (as seen in our photos.) The bathroom furniture is notable with 2 tiny towel racks, a mirrored medicine chest that opens, a toilet whose lid opens, sink, tub, stool and chair. The parlor set includes a phonograph with a movable lid.Note: the floor is slanted because we did not use the fasteners in setting up the house for our photos. We included the word Daisy in the listing title, it comes up in association with Tootsie Toys. The house measures approximately 19" long x 14.5" wide x 15 1/2" tall (not including the chimneys.) It will be shipped flat and unassembled. The doll house is in very good used condition, has a wee bit of scribble on the front. The furniture set has seen play time by his mother who owned it as a child and saved it for years. She took it out of storage for loan to the Hayward Area Historical Society from 10/24/91 to 3/1/92 and was displayed in their museum. The set went back into storage since then.
