This is a RARE early Taxco 980 silver brooch and earring set featuring a modernist curved branch with leaves and 10mm saturated amethyst cabochon accents. The brooch measures 2 7/8" long by 1 1/4" high and is signed La Cucaracha, Silver, Taxco, 980. One earring is signed La Cucaracha while the other is signed Silver, Taxco, 980. The earrings measure approximately 1" by 3/4". All pieces are in excellent vintage condition with some light surface scratches consistent with thei...r age. They have a beautiful even aged patina that can be buffed to your preference. Gorgeous set!
