Original Description:
Amazing Fossil Skull, Petrified With Multiple Details, Museum Quality.. Condition is "Used". This is one of those examples of why these rare gembone specimens are so important. They are rare in most of the world and the average fossil collector/ paleontologist often dismiss them as unusual rocks, pseudo-fossils, when in fact they are 100% real and in rare examples they show the most lifelike qualities of any fossil. The process of petrifying soft tissue requires the perfect settings. V...olcanic cataclysm, disasters like landslides, etc. The dinosaurs were covered with some kind of sediment that closed them off from normal decaying process and over time they are replaced with different minerals, agatizing and preserving the mirror image of how creature looked at time of death, sometimes showing skin color and texture, transparency revealing veins, blood, and tissues never seen in any other type of fossil. They essentially have been turned into rockl carbon copies of their original dying state. A perfect storm of nature and you can look at something millions of years old as if it just died yesterday.  Umcommon conditions but not impossible conditions. Kind of like Pompeii after the eruption of Vesuvius. The humans who perished were covered in volcanic ash so quickly that today you can see the expressions on their faces as they died in a much similar concept to these fossils. Some great minds in the field of fossils are currently working on the most comprehensive study of petrified dinosaur fossils ever, which when finished will give 100% validation with great numbers of examples to prove their validity and importance to the field of Paleontology. Hard for close minded people to accept something other than what is parroted by the current textbooks and teachings. Pluto is no longer a planet, knowledge advances, and theories change with new evidence and study. So before any of you  "Know it all" experts message me to educate me about my normal rocks, so do a little reading and try to grasp the fact that any soft tissue can be petrified to agatized gembone fossils and show the most realistic image of the living image of the fossil. Technically rocks, but the most important specimens for understanding the dinosaurs soft tissues than the handful of examples accepted at present. It is honestly laughable that educated people are in denial of these fossils when there are great examples readily available to study, examine, and  x-ray. These fossils, at least detailed examples,   will one day command the prices of other fossils. A more common fossil skull can reach five figure prices in no time, and they don't reveal the secrets of color, skin, texture, etc. Until the people wake up from their denial and stop spreading the false propaganda about these amazing fossils, they can be purchased at a fraction of the price of most fossils seen for sale so I think it is sound advice to invest in these because when more readily accepted in the fossil community, their prices are going to skyrocket and they deserve to. They remind me of Fox News, very opinionated but no facts, and essentially spreading fake news that they really believe. They just need to do a little research for the proof to be revealed. This is not UFOs or Supernatural phenomena. The tangible , physical proof  and evidence is readily available, just need to think like an educated scientist, not a member of the Flat-Earth Society. Check out my listing every so often. I have a huge collection and add pieces to sell as time permits. They have been moving pretty quickly, so People are starting to see what great specimens these are.  Grab some up before everyone else starts while their are still really good examples at low prices. This head is from a young Ceratopsian, Hadrosaur, or ancient turtle relative. The above mentioned dinosurs can be found in great numbers at the site where this was found. Beak is visible, which narrowa it down  From an ancient dry creek that is literally like a dinosaur mass graveyard, which amazingly is still unknown to the fossil hunters and experts. Fossil weighs 9 lbs.
