Beautiful Asian, oriental chestpurchased from an antique dealer, who had it priced at $225.00.  IBELIEVE this is a MAITLAND SMITH Trunk, Chest, Chinoiserie, Hand Made inChina.  Rattan wicker sides, wood base with brass hardware.  Beautiful gold tone hand painted art (Asian Scenes) on the top and front panels.  Intricate weave Bamboo design on the sides, brass bands on the corners andlock.  Hinged top -  Handles on the sides.  Measu...rements - 201/4" wide, 13" deep and 9 3/4" tall (51.43 cm wide, 33.02 cmdeep and 24.76 cm tall)
