Original Description:
This listing is for an old time digs polished specimen of petrified agatized wood root specimen originating from Saddle Mountain in Washington state! The coloration of this specimen is superb showing the characteristics and colors indicative of the earliest excavations on Saddle Mountain, much earlier than the dendritic picture wood that also is derived from the same locale. This awesome specimen weighs 10.1 ounces and measures 102mm by 81mm by 35mm. All photographs were taken while th...e specimen was dry. Detailed photos depicting the intricate detail and vivid colors were photographed at 2X to 4X. I will combine shipping for multiple purchases as long as the specimens can be packaged in a manner that minimizes the potential for damage. There is a chip on the polished face but does not detract from the overall presentation in my opinion.
